Madeleine 20th May 2011

Mum and I went and visited Didi's grave yesterday. It was calm and peaceful and everything well kept. We put sweet peas on her grave - the fragrance was heavenly and we hope it wafted up to her. Mum said prayers for the dead and I thought how hard it must be for her & I'm not sure if knowing that this is her own last resting place is a comfort or a sorrow. Anyway, it was the end of a lovely day during which we visited the beautiful gardens at Nyman's at Handcross, Sussex and talked of Didi with pleasure.
